Conference Highlights

The conference was held at the Eagle Resort in Ypsilanti in Michigan. It was opened by the Governor of Michigan, John Engler. After, 362 delegates were addressed by internationally recognised leading experts in the field of micro-nanotechnology commercialisation. The highlight of the conference programme were presentations delivered by Venture Capitalists, Corporate and Angel investors, who also participated in panels and reviewed the business plans of some attendees. This followed a similarly successful session carried at COMS2001 in Oxford. Co-sponsors of the conference included Ardesta, the EV Group, Sandia National Laboratory, IVAM and the Michigan Economic Development Council.
