Professor Dacheng Zhang

Dacheng Zhang was born April 26, 1961.

Education

BS, Beijing Polytechnic University; MS and PhD of microelectronics from PKU.

Career

• Vice-Director, Institute of Microelectronic, Peking University
• Chairman of the board of First MEMS Co. Ltd., the first MEMS chip fabrication company in China
• Leading the most opening Si process based MEMS process lab in China
• Very knowledgeable in VLSI, MEMS process development and related equipment
• Was the direct-engineer of the first 4-inch IC fab in China
• The project leader of 973, 863, and other national scientific research projects, total research budget more than one million USD. Over 20 papers published and over 20 patterns in applying
• The first one in China who gives an idea of standard process based MEMS research and the way of designing of silicon process flow.
