Yuelin Wang

Education

Prof. Yuelin Wang received his B. S. Degree from Zhejiang University in 1982, his M. S. Degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1985, and Ph.D. Degree from Tsinghua University in 1989.

Career

Prof. Yuelin Wang joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1985, and was an Associate Professor in 1991, and a Professor in 1993. He began his work in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems in 1986, and published over 100 articles and he is the owner of over 15 patents in China.

He is currently a Professor of Shanghai institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chairman of the Major State Basic Research Program of China 'Investigation on integrated micro optical electro mechanical system', 100 Talents in Chinese Academy Sciences, and a member of the expert-committee of Hi-Tech Research and Development Program of China.

Research

His research interests include microelecromechanical systems, and nanoelectromechanical systems.

Dr. Wang is IEEE senior member, editor of the Journal Sensors and Materials, committeeman of Transducer 01 and 03, Director of the Shanghai Sensing Technology Academy, Deputy Director of the Sensor branch of China Instrument Society of Electrical Measuring Instrument. He is also the winner of several technology awards of Shanghai Government and Ministry of Education of China.
