Robert Haak

Robert Haak is the president of Insight interAsia Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based consulting company focused on assisting small- and medium-sized technology companies excel in their Asian business ventures. The company has representative offices in Japan and Korea. Robert has worked extensively throughout Asia for the last 15 years.

MANCEF Contributions

Mr. Haak is currently a General Board (Asia-Aus-Pac) member, a member of the MANCEF Marketing and Strategic Alliances Committees, and a regular attendee of the COMS conference series over the past five years. Robert was also a Chapter leader of the 1st Edition MANCEF International Micro Nano Roadmap. Robert has been instrumental in bringing MANCEF into Asian event opportunities and, in the process, becoming an ambassador for MANCEF in Japan.

Education

He has a BS in Engineering, a BA in English from Tulane University (New Orleans) and an MBA in Management of Technology and Corporate Finance from the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque).

Career

Prior to starting Insight interAsia, he was employed by the Asian Technology Information Program (ATIP), Emcore Corporation, and the Nippon Sanso Group as a sales/marketing and operations manager covering the Asia/Pacific region. During his career, Robert has been based in Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, and Tokyo and has traveled in over 50 countries.
