Coventor's
MEMS Design Scholarship Awards Available
Industry standard MEMS software
provider, Coventor Inc., along
with the Micro and Nanotechnology Commercialization Education Foundation
MANCEF, will again award "MEMS
design scholarships" to students and their professors during the
COMS2006 conference. Students are not required to be present at COMS2006
to be eligible to receive the award. The scholarships are granted based
on proposals submitted by students working in micro systems research around
the world. Each student will receive a free 1-year license to Coventor's
CoventorWare software tools; to be used in the University setting. MANCEF
holds a high standard in accepting proposals for these scholarships. Winners
are picked based on the quality of the proposal and must comply with Coventor's
high-quality standards in the use of its products.
In previous years this scholarship reward
program has received many outstanding proposals, and on average 3 proposals
are rewarded each year. There is no limit to the research topics but a
strong relation to commercially viable designs and solutions in the MEMS
area is preferred. Proposals can be submitted until 1 August 2006.
The winners will be notified at COMS2006. To have your proposal considered
for this award, please email your abstract to scholarship@mancef-coms2006.org
