About MANCEF

Current Committees

The following committees support MANCEF's vision to be the premier educational organization for the commercialization of the miniaturization technologies world-wide. Our General Board has been a wealth of advice and assistance as we build out the committees.  Offers by the General Membership to work with committees on specific aspects requested by the committees is welcomed. Just contact us at info@mancef.org or contact the Committee Chairs directly.

Finance Committee

James Wylde, Scott Bryant, Bruce Kirchhoff, Bob Mehalso, Bevan Wu

The business plan and budgets are prepared in tandem with the endeavors of the other committees.  Their completion and usefulness will be dependent on receiving information on strategies, timelines, and revenue/cost estimates provided be each of MANCEF's  committees.  The Finance Committee will collect and organize the content required by the business plan writing process.  Operational budgets will reflect the implementation of products and services to be offered by MANCEF and the pathways to organizational growth. Finance Committee members are involved in fundraising for the foundation.

  • Why should you care about MEMS and Nanotech commercialization and education?
  • Why should you join MANCEF and participate in member activities to further the organization's mission?

We need your help to:

Membership Committee

Bob Warrington (chair), Scott Bryant, James Wylde, Barry Alexia, Kees Eijkel, Erol Harvey

Only a few organizations focus on miniaturization technologies and very few combine miniaturization technologies with commercialization. MANCEF brings together technologists, businesspersons, entrepreneurs, academicians, companies, technologies, policy makers, and researchers.

Since its incorporation in the December of 2000, MANCEF has granted memberships in MANCEF to each COMS (Commercialization of Micro and Nano Systems) conference attendees. While this practice continues, MANCEF wants to extend its membership base, whetherindividual and organizational across academia, industry, and government sectors. Membership includes a significant membership network and knowledge capital resource around the world. We need your help to:

  • Develop the membership program
  • Determine membership categories, costs and member benefits packages
  • Solicit customer feedback and develop membership communications strategy

Join this committee by contacting Bob Warrington: rwarrington@mancef.org.
